that's it for the tour right now. I don't have any insider
information from the show, so basically this site was put together using
what I've seen on the show and what limited personal information I have
of the Toronto area as well as some help from other Torontonians.
Anyways, I'd like to expand the site to include other Toronto locations seen
on the show, but I just don't know what they are. What I've been able
to gather is only from bits and pieces on the internet. This is also
difficult in the sense that only 4 episodes have aired and as such haven't
received wide exposure as of yet. If you think you can
help or just want to provide a comment, please contact me.
Several of the shooting locations that I'm interested in are listed below
but any information that you have I would be more than happy to listen to.
- Hospital (Episode 4)- Pink Flamingoes
This is the outside of the hospital in which Jaye's dad is admitted after breaking his
leg and where Jaye's mom first meets Sharon's "car pool" buddy. I have a high suspicion that this isn't actually a hospital.
If you happen to know where the interior scenes were shot, that would be
helpful as well.
- Tyler's House
Seen throughout the show, most probably best seen in Pink Flamingos.
I won't publish the address, but would just like to get a shot of it.
- Customs and Immigration (Episode 5-Crime Dog)
As Jaye and Aaron wait in her car to cross into Canada, there's an
interesting to shot of the car line-up. It almost looks like a lot
somewhere. According to the DVD this was a bus washing station just
outside of Toronto.
- Yvette's Parents (Episode 5-Crime Dog). -Small quaint
house, would like to know where it is. I won't publish the address.

Niagara Zoo (Episdoe 9-Safety Canary)
As I frequent visitor to the Toronto Zoo, I was positive that I knew
exactly where Jaye and Eric shared their first on-screen date kiss at the
Toronto Zoo. However, when I went to photograph it, I found it just
didn't look right. Hmm. So I'm now stuck. I'm pretty sure
that some scenes were filmed at the zoo, since it's pretty clear that the
Niagara Zoo map that is seen on the show is an inverted map of the Toronto
Zoo, but I just can't seem to pin down where it is. The DVD's indicate
the elephants were from the Bomanville Zoo just east of Toronto. I don't
know if it means the scenes were shot there.

Native Reserve (Episode 12-Totem Mole)
There are some outside shots used and from what I understand it was
actually shot on a Native Reserve.

Trailer Park (Various Episodes)
The Trailer park from the pilot was shot on Cherry Beach
and is different from the trailer park from
the rest of the episodes. I have no idea
where the trailer park from the remaining episodes is shot. For
example in Lovesick Ass (Episode 8) when Eric is installing the satellite
dish.

Exterior and Interior of the Wedding Chapel
(Lovesick Ass)
There's a brief scene of the exterior of a wedding chapel which according
to the DVD is a Mexican restaurant.
Would also like to know where the interior or the scene is from.
